The Smith & Nephew Vail Hip Symposium (located at the Vail Marriott & Steadman Philippon Research Institute) provided an opportunity for leaders in the healthcare space to learn advanced & innovative hip arthroscopy techniques. With a unique approach to a traditional meeting, the symposium blended expert advice with live surgical cadaver demos, live surgery & hands on training in the bio-skills labs. At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Van Thiel and his fellow attendees walked away from Vail Hip 2020 with new insights on difficult problems related to FAI, labral repair and hip displaysia.
