Dr Van Thiel and his team are great!! As of this review, I am 12 weeks post op for a labrum tear and bicep reattachment and while I have a ways to go to be back at 100%, I feel great! During the recovery process I had very minimal pain. I would highly recommend Dr Van Thiel for all your shoulder repair needs!

My whole experience was great. I had a follow up for an MRI on Friday, and a surgical consult that Monday. The office staff were courteous and kind. The doctor gave me all the options and the information to make an informed decision without pressuring me either way. He was patient with my questions and when we decided on a course of action I was able to get my injection right in the office. I have loved every minute of my experience with OrthoIllinois.

Dr Van Thiel performed my knee surgery and I have been in his ongoing care for the last few years. He is very knowledgeable and efficient. I feel well cared for by him and his competent staff.

Dr Van Thiel is amazing and very knowledgeable. He explains things in a way that is very easy to understand and I would recommend him 1,000 times over. I was back to work less than 6 months after my injury and it feels like nothing ever happened. I appreciate both his time and skill.

Dr Van Thiel is compassionate, realistic and extremely skilled. My son had a multi-ligament tear in his knee which 2 surgeons passed on doing because it was so complicated. He performed the complicated surgery with great success.

I had Dr. Van Thiel was great doctor. I had 2 operation done by him. He listened to me and we decided what I should have done to my knee. Surgery went well, recovery bare minimal pain. Physically therapy was very helpful part to my recovery. I differently would go back to Dr. Van Thiel.
